A message to this page's dictator (JzG) regarding his bias
I must admit to having been unimaginably flabbergasted when you reverted my (rational, balanced and backed with studies) changes back to this article's present state of being totally biased, inaccurate and one-sided. I guess since I was coming from a balanced perspective, and you were not, misinterpreting 850 independent studies as all falsified information and three news reports as the absolute truth was not too far of a stretch. Nowhere in this wiki entry does it state that the FDA has fully approved Breast Thermography for breast cancer risk-assessment. Nowhere in this wiki entry does it state Thermography's, time again proven, sensitivity and specificity of 90%. What's more? - I have absolutely no "real-world" involvement with Breast Thermography as you so vividly have imagined - I actually got interested in the subject through a research paper that I have been working on for my home university. Anyways, please do let me know when I may proceed to independently contribute to this page in hopes of presenting a scientific analysis of Breast Thermography. And please, Thermography a "questionable practice", sure but only when loonies like you are moderating pages like these. Oh, and here is a small sample (50) out of the 850 scientific studies that I have come across that do, in fact, prove the accuracy and legitimacy of Breast Thermography.
