Record label history
[edit]I believe the History section is inaccurate. I do not believe it's correct to say that Nomeansno "initially" released records on Alternative Tentacles. From what I have been able to reconstruct, Mama and the two early 7-inches were self-released, Sex Mad was originally released by Psyche Industry, Wrong was originally released on Cargo Records, and You Kill Me was originally released on Undergrowth.
I think it might be more accurate to say something such as: The majority of the Nomeansno catalog was available on the Alternative Tentacles record label at some point, although the band worked with several labels (Cargo Records, Psyche Industry, De Konkurrent, Southern Records, and others) including their own label Wrong Records.
- I have no memory of this, but these are my exact initials and this is exactly the sort of comment I would have made so it would appear that I made a comment about 17 years ago regarding the record label history and there has been no updates.
- Tonight I did make an edit to the record labels in the banner. I didn't include De KonKurrent or Atomic Recordings which I think were the labels for "In the Fishtank" but they probably should be added. Perhaps in 2041 I'll make those edits. 2601:1C2:1A80:2D00:1128:E890:1F9B:2568 (talk) 05:08, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
