[edit]Somone, I don't know who, decided it was a good idea to ask for the deletion of this page. However, I contest it. For one reason, I would like to state that Nolan Gerard Funk is now a recognized actor in the nickleodeon community. Many people have now seen the most recent show Spectacular which was released on February seventeenth. For this reason he is likely to be looked up on the wikipedia database so fans can learn more about him. Furthermore, he has appeared in other T.V. shows as shown in the article. Also, he has gained much popularity and chances are he will be put into other shows. I am aware that the page lacks proper citations. I can fix that. I intend to when I'm done writing this. I am also aware that this article is more of a stub. I plan to fix that as well. I beg of you to reconsider deleting this page. I promise that users will come on soon afterward and attempt to recreate it. 60'smusic (talk) 17:02, 22 February 2009 (UTC)60'smusic
This article is horrible! It doesn't make any sense. You can't start an article with "He will also be in... movie". Please sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). moocowsruletalk to moo 03:45, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Okay, this is the original discusser, I have added much to this article and I want to contest it being considered a stub article. I believe it has enough info now not to be. If anyone knows how to remove its stub status please do so.
Once someone adds references this article should be fine... I don't think we need to take it to AfD. moocowsruletalk to moo 05:34, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
This is the original discussor once again. I see the article is still a stub, I still contest that. I would like to note that I have now separated the article into multiple parts adding on the Childhood, Charities, Awards, and Filmography sections. I am not pleased with the filmography section, however. It needs to be a graph. Unfortunately I do not know how to do this on wikipedia. If somone could do that before I figure it out that would be appreciated. Wiki (talk) 22:08, 22 February 2009 (UTC) 60's music
- An article being a stub isn't a bad thing. It just means there isn't enough information about the subject yet. The way to deal with this isn't to add every single minute detail you can find, but rather to patiently collect information from reliable sources when they become available. Funk's career is just beginning and there's no rush to make this a featured article. One thing I'm certain about is that the way to improve this isn't to copy and paste everything from IMDb. Let the article develop. I promise that this isn't going to feel like such an emergency once the next teen hearthrob comes around. -- AniMatetalk 02:50, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks Animate! Also, I have a question about the filmography. Whenever I look at any other actor's wiki page they always have a filmography so why can't Nolan? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60'smusic (talk • contribs) 23:01, 24 February 2009 (UTC) he was born in august 19 1986 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.154.82.55 (talk) 19:57, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
