Noarlunga Centre railway line → Seaford railway line – current name, according to official website --Relisted. Armbrust The Homunculus 09:00, 6 March 2014 (UTC) 101.103.1.28 (talk) 05:29, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME. The extension to Seaford only opened a week ago after a big upgrade, and as far as I can see the common name is still Noarlunga. The latest news item linked from the article appears to be this 19 jan 2014 story on AdelaideNow, which still calls it the "Noarlunga line". --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 14:21, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
- So, I guess Wikipedia hates Adelaide, then? But once enough time has passed since the station's opening, can the move happen? Or is the article's name permanent, even long after all the official sources and news site use the current name? 101.103.36.249 (talk) 09:16, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Aldinga Extension
[edit]No internet source (that I'm aware of), but the information that I posted came from the local 'Southern Times Messenger' (January 10, 2007 issue) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Neoballmon II (talk • contribs) 14:36, 12 January 2007 (UTC).

- "A long-awaited study into extending the rail line from Noarlunga to the growing Seaford and Aldinga areas has been delayed - 19 months after it began. The State Government started the feasibility study into extending the rail line 5.5km south from Noarlunga Centre to Seaford in June 2005, and then broadened it to look at options for extending the line further to Aldinga." —Delays hit new rail line Is this a line to nowhere?, Southern Times Messenger (South Australia) 01-10-2007 michael talk 14:42, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Name Change
[edit]The official website now refers to the Noarlunga Centre line as the Seaford line (SOURCE). Since the Seaford station has opened a few hours ago, we should change the article's name. 101.103.1.28 (talk) 02:54, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: Note that there's already a Seaford Branch Line and the proposed name could lead to confusion between the two. Lamberhurst (talk) 15:52, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- We disambiguate tons of pages, and it's the official, not proposed, name of the line. The Drover's Wife (talk) 22:06, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
