Infobox

[edit]
  • According to the Side Effects of You article, the previous single was "Side Effects of You"; if this is true, please change "Without Me" to "Side Effects of You"

Lead

[edit]

Paragraph 1

[edit]
  • First single works, but you could also say "lead single" if you choose

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • How does this sound: "Commercially, the song peaked at number six on the United States Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart."
  • Plus, remember to link Billboard in the above sentence, whatever you change about it

Paragraph 3

[edit]
  • Looks good!

Background

[edit]
  • Nothing to change here :)

Composition and lyrical interpretation

[edit]

Paragraph 1

[edit]
  • Put "rock soul" in quotation marks like you did earlier

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • I don't think you need to link "chorus" here
  • "as examples of how..." --> "are examples of how..."
  • Remove the link to "Music Times"; the article for it was recently deleted

Release and acoustic version

[edit]

Paragraph 1

[edit]
  • Link The Definition Of..." please
  • Add a semi-colon to the end of the sentence, then continue with "Fantasia wrote:..."

Paragraph 2

[edit]
  • ¡Nada enchilada!

Reception

[edit]

Critical response

[edit]
  • In the first few reviews, the critics describe the song, but did they describe it favorably, negatively, were they mixed?, etc.
  • The Omaha World-Herald review is a good example
  • "; Smiley also said the singer was lacking..."
  • "; Apaza further recommended that Fantasia..."

Commercial performance

[edit]
  • I know it only charted on one chart, but you could bring up how long it lasted, what week it peaked on, etc.
  • I have added the week the single charted and the weeks it took to get there. The single is currently still on the charts, but as soon as it drops off the chart. Aoba47 (talk) 04:44, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Formats and track listings

[edit]
  • Include the acoustic version here too
  • The acoustic version was never made available outside of the music video. I have added a sentence in the "Release and acoustic version" to clarify this. Isn't that some poor marketting and promotion on the label's part? lol Aoba47 (talk) 04:44, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is a matter of my personal preference, but I would change the format of the downloads to the one used, for example, on "Make Me Like You", but it's up to you; I don't care regardless

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • Any more personnel, like for tracking, mixing, recording, etc.?
  • I would assume all the information about the personnel will be made available in the album's liner notes, which will be released with the album on July 29. I have added as much as I know for the time being. I am not sure how I could find the information for this prior to the album's release (I will definitely update this when it is released), but I am open to suggestion. Release history

[edit]
  • Remove the links to the countries

Good article; standard procedure – on hold for seven days. Good luck! Carbrera (talk) 02:58, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Carbrera: Thank you for the review. While this article is little, I am very proud of it as I did all the work for it so it means a lot to hear your feedback. I have addressed all your comments and added my own comments above. Let me know what you think about the "Personnel" part. Also, I have tried looking again to see if the acoustic version was released separately from the music video and still found nothing so I unfortunately cannot add anything else to the "Track listing" section. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thank you again (Sorry, I am very long-winded when typing lol). Aoba47 (talk) 04:44, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
