Redirect to new filter, map, reduce article?

The vast majority of "no SQL" databases that are actually described that way (as opposed to network databases, semantic web techs like triple stores, object-oriented databases and other ways of storing data) are using the "filter, map, reduce" paradigm. The current article on MapReduce inanely describes it as Google-specific with Riak and many other tools support similar functions.

Further reading

I propose to add my carefully crafted text book on Advanced Data Management to the further reading section. As opposed to existing books focusing mainly on the technical (installation and configuration) aspects of modern data stores, this is the first textbook on NoSQL systems providing full coverage of the theoretical background of modern data stores as well as a comprehensive survey of seminal scientific approaches in the data management literature of the last decades.

importance?

On what basis are we calling K-V pairs a simple but non-trivial data model? One could argue that it is both simple *and* trivial. And even that one is hard-pressed to imagine a more trivial data model. 🤔 Toddcs (talk) 21:03, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
