Merging No. 664 Squadron RAF and No. 664 Squadron RCAF
[edit]Both articles seem to describe the same military unit, with some duplication, but unique information in both articles. Checking some external online sources, there is also some confusion elsewhere as to the correct name, but the consensus seems to be that it was not officially a RCAF unit, although manned by Canadian personnel. However, please see the information at Talk:No. 666 Squadron RAF added in 2008, which, if verifiable (wiki markup used to simulate official documentation, added by an IP editor with only this page accessed may suggest all is not quite what it may seem), may indicate that RCAF is in fact correct. - Except there is the post-war RAuxAF observation squadron to deal with which suggests a removal of the WWII ops from the 664 Squadron RAF article rather than a merging. (http://www.rafweb.org/Sqn651-670.htm) GraemeLeggett (talk) 16:18, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
