No. 1402 (Meteorological) Flight RAF

Was 1402 absorbed during the war (i.e. 1943) as stated in the first paragraph of History:
"After moving to RAF Tiree on 25 September 1943, and absorbing 1402 Flight"
or after the War as in the second paragraph:
"After the end of the Second World War the squadron moved to RAF Aldergrove in Northern Ireland where it absorbed 1402 Flight"?
Could the first event have been an attachment? Would someone with access the references please check them.
