A mini image doesn't contain the cd's complete contents. If it did that would be a complete image. A mini image only contains enough of the cd's contents to bypass the software's cd-checks and protections. Someone should revise this... I'm a little lazy.
Why is this under a "No-CD crack" title. Now there are "No-online DRM" cracks. Simpler to just replace the Crack (software) article with this one as the common usage for crack in software is the DRM cracks and not some unix program.
is this legal?
