Ukrainian version
[edit]It seems there is now a Ukrainian version of the song<[1], but I have yet to find news articles about it, does someone else have an acceptable source? Ape89 (talk) 12:17, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

Bobrikov?
[edit]lying more than Bobrikov himself
who was Bobrikov and what did he tell? (Idot (talk) 17:03, 19 March 2023 (UTC))
- Nikolay Bobrikov was the Governor-General of Finland from January 27 (Gregorian Calendar-) 1898 until his assassination on June 17 1904 (also Gregorian calendar), he was the Emperor's personal representative and enforcer in Finland during the Russification period that started in 1899 which didn't really end until the February Revolution of 1917, for that one reason he was probably the most hated Russian in Finland between 1899 and 1939 (for the purpose of this comment, in 1939 Stalin counted as a Russian in Finnish minds.)
- In short, every lie, deception and perceived wrong by the Russian Empire between 1899 and 1904 was attributed to Bobrikov.Ape89 (talk) 14:13, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
Copyright
[edit]The arranger of the recording was Robert von Essen who died in 1957. Thus this recording is still copyrighted in Finland, although the lyrics and the tune are public domain. The recording will enter the public domain in 2028. Mölli-Möllerö (talk) 19:38, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
