Is it OK to copy a list of award winners?
[edit]I'm not sure what the rules are wrt copyright for something that is a pure list of award winners (or stats). I would think copy and paste is legit (as how can you really have the spark of inspiration to justify rights?). Also, how can you conceiveably synthesize the content differently (really) so that it is far enough away from the original while still explaining things.
FYI, there is an even better list (showing nominees) here: [1]
I kinda held back on copying that, but am tempted.

P.s. If there is a serious dispute on the rights (and I admit to not being gnats as certain how this works, then take it to a centralized message board, not litigate it here.)
