Hey,i have a 1991 Nissan sunny from Japan, actually a B13 with the 1500 cc eng, what other engine could work in this body with the least modification?
- If you read the Wikipedia article on the B13 sunny then you would find it is also called a Nissan Sentra (B13) in other markets. On the Nissan Sentra article it states that there was a version of the B13 model that came with an SR20DE. I would think this would be an obvious alternative. You could further research by looking at cars that also have SR20DE motors or other GA motors and then find what other motors that came with. Other than that you are looking in the wrong place for this information and this section is not for this type of discussion.
xOHC
[edit]The text regarding the GA20DE states that it is a SOHC but the engine code implies that it is DOHC due to the DE according to the way Nissan name their motors. If somebody who is familiar with the engine could correct whether it is a DOHC or if it called a GA20E. 203.97.113.11 (talk) 13:48, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
Timing chain
[edit]According to this article, the GA16DE has a timing roller-chain. Is that the case for all GA engines ? --Jerome Potts (talk) 09:45, 22 January 2017 (UTC)
Proposed merger
[edit]I'm suggesting that the content of the stand-along article GA16DNE is largely covered in this article, and the small amount that doesn't overlap can easily be incorporated into it. What does anyone else think? 16:21, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
