FJs have different blocks to L/Z/KA blocks.
Mechanically speaking, it has little to do with both the CA and SR engines.
DOHC:
If the FJ is an DOHC, Why are they called then for example FJ20E??
Answer: these engines were developed before nissan used the D to denote "double over head cam". The FJ20 is indeed a twin overhead cam 16 valve design with mechanically actuated cam on bucket follower design, no rocker arms or hydraulic tappets in sight. The head is aluminium, not magnesium as stated in the version of the page I am about to edit .220.236.150.72 00:32, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:FJ20DET.jpg
[edit]Image:FJ20DET.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:11, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
what relevance does the weight of the KA have?
[edit]Is it related to this engine? If not, why is its weight in the article text? Does the weight of that particular engine matter more than any of a hundred others? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andy Christ (talk • contribs) 22:15, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Qualification of foreign language link
[edit]The link to the page for the 240RS should include a note that it it in Japanese. Perhaps an English translation is required........ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.108.181.83 (talk) 20:24, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
