Move proposal
[edit]Why is this called the Nisqually Indian Community, since the tribe doesn't use this name? I'd like to propose moving it to Nisqually Reservation. -Uyvsdi (talk) 06:29, 20 September 2013 (UTC)Uyvsdi
- Oppose and counter-proposal. Its legal name per GNIS is U.S. Geological Survey Geographic Names Information System: Nisqually Reservation and as a census designated place should be at that name, i.e. Nisqually Indian Community. You're a big stickler on using full proper names names e.g. Chemehuevi Indian Tribe of the Chemehuevi Reservation instead of the similar and probably-more-common use Chemehuevi Indian Tribe, so why are you proposing different here? Self-identification should be the main issue here, and legal name. Not a wiki-fiction.Skookum1 (talk) 07:30, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
