94 th amendment of indian Constitution

Ninety Fourth Amendment-: The new states Chhattisgarh and jharkhand were formed by the MPReorganization Act, 2000 and Bihar Reorganization Act, 2000 .AS a consequence of reorganization of chattisgarh and jharkhand States whole of the Scheduled area of Madhya Pradesh was transferred tothe State of jharkhand Therefore thisamendment has substituted the word bihar in Article 64(1) of the Constitution by the words Chhattisgarh and jharkhand.
