Cricket theme
[edit]For years I've been wanting to track down the cricket theme in its various incarnations. Who composed it? What's it actually called? I know it was the theme to Bluey (1976), and has been remixed for cricket many times (1977, 1983, 1984, 1992, 1994, 1996, 2003, 2006 at least!). - Bricks J. Winzer 05:43, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm in the same boat as you. However I've been struggling to find a copy of the original theme... Atlantis Hawk 13:08, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey there, just wondering if anyone has had any luck finding the cricket theme?? We are hoping to use it for our wedding in April to make our reception a bit of fun (already sent out the wedding invites with the "Australia Wins The Ashes" stamps from Aust Post. Emma07 07:22, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- No joy. All I've got is a version of the theme as used on TV. Contact me via my page if you want more info. - Bricks J. Winzer 11:17, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Is Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Fanfare for the Common Man" what you're looking for? --Travisbasevi 03:53, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- No. That's the theme Channel 7 used for Sportsworld and its other sport productions. - Bricks J. Winzer 05:14, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
