[edit]Please tell me what is in your opinion POV and I will explain - I entered much new information, such as more awards she had received and the list of the countries where she had performed at, corrected dates and such. I have given a link to a website with her complete biography, repertoire and other such information. Burann 14:00, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
I also have made a mistake in the edit summary - of course, I meant to say "is" rather than "was". Burann 14:05, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
That she was trained in Moscow, Soviet Union does not makes her Russian. Many sportsmen and artists lives and trains outside their native countries, but that does not changes their ethnicity. "Georgian-born Russian ballerina" means that she is a Russian born in Georgia. Soviet Union consisted of many nations. You could say "Latvian-born Russian football player" about most of the players of the Latvian national team for example as many of them really are Baltic Russians, but this is not the case here. And it is well explained in the article that she trained in Moscow and performed in the Bolshoi Ballet as her first place of proffessional performing. Burann 15:17, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- This is not her official website (unlike you stated in the edit summary) but a website maintained by fans.
- It is not good in Wikipedia to add citations of articles written by other people into introductory paragraphs.
- Everything about where she learnend ballet is already written elsewhere in the article.
- As I have said, the place of studying does not changes one's ethnicity. And back then both Russia and Georgia were in the Soviet Union as well, while Moscow was the center of that union.
- If you will have particular suggestions or arguements please explain them here. Burann 07:39, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
