Concerning the deletion, i think it wouldn't be fair as he is a young player not even 20yrs old, why would you delete it? He was an essential part of a team promoted to 3rd division which i consider something noticeable, he couldn't continue playing at the same club because of his studies not of his playing skills. So if we consider him as a player having the capacity to play in the 3rd division while being 19years old, i think you could keep the article. For footballers of his age the best is to come. Thanks for your time. Salonika3 (talk) 16:26, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
(a). WP:NOTABLE: Have significantly many reliable sources written about them e.g. newspaper reports/emtries in books
(b). WP:NFOOTY: Have played in a fully professional football league (list here. For Greek Leagues, this means Super League, League or League 2. As far as I can see, they haven't done this, if they have please find a source saying they have. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:32, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Joseph2302: Well the team he was part of, was promoted to a professional division (football league 2) and they play there in our days. For me at least that shows he can meet that criteria because of his capacity. There are also articles written about him in Greek. I can add the Greek references if you consider it useful.--Salonika3 (talk) 16:52, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Salonika3: His team may have been promoted to League 2, but did Spiliotakis play in any games at this level. If so, he may be notable (if there is significant coverage of him playing at this level). Articles written in Greek are acceptable as citations. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!!16:56, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@WikiDan61: Oh i didn't knew that citations in other language than the one the article is written were accepted but indeed Spiliotakis didn't play in any football league 2 matches. What i tried to explain is that he was an essential part (as he played in almost every game) of the team that was promoted to football league 2, he may have done the summer preparation with them before the season started some friendly matches as well before leaving for Athens to start his studies. I know he had a trial for a professional team playing in Superleague but i can't find any articles of that. ps i forget my signature every time sry --Salonika3 (talk) 17:05, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
He can be considered as a notable person as he has a certain number of articles about him. I know what i want to propose its might sound bizarre but i suggest that we keep the article and if he doesn't play in a higher level or lets say his statue remains unchanged in one and a half year from today we can delete it. Maybe it seems long i know but i am sure we can revise it's existence later in the future. He is not known outside of Greece but that doesn't mean he can't have an article in English.
