Ethnicity?
[edit]"Topor-Stanley was born to a Mauritian Father of Indian heritage and a Polish-German Mother."
Which is stated in this report
Has that been acknowledged anywhere else?
If his father is Mauritian, and his mother is "German/Polish", where does the Russian name (Nikolai) come from? Perviously it was stated that he was born to a Mauritian mother of Indian heritage and a Polish-Russian father... the Russian component would seem to make more sense judging from his name. I can confirm Nikolai's FATHER is Mauritian. I coached him as a junior and my wife worked with his mother.
I would also point out that the details posted of his youth career are incorrect. He played until 1998 with Tuggeranong United, and in 1999 and 2000 played (as a 14 and 15 year-old) with Woden Valley, NOT Belconnen. He moved to Woden with several other members of the 1998 ACT Under 13 Development Squad of which he was part, playing Under 15s in 1999 and Under 17s in 2000.
