- I will review this article shortly. Albacore (talk) 17:36, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
Review
- No DAB links, no dead links, files look OK in terms of copyright (reviewed off of this diff
- There are a few references I would like to have you explain the reliability of: New England Recruiting Report, Michigan Live LLC (which in ref 24 and 33 have a double period). Ref 19 needs the ESPN publisher and link. There's something amiss with ref 45. What justifies Twitter as a reliable source? Refs 53, 55 should be ndashes instead of just hyphens.
- Double periods eliminated.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:23, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- There was a typo in the publisher parameter (publishr).--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:32, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- ndashes fixed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:39, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- 45 fixed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:42, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Re WP:RS
- New England Recruiting Report: Removed. (Covered by other ref)
- Michigan Live LL: Although it is difficult for me to establish that there is an editorial review process, that would make this a standard RS consideration, I am able to assert that this is not some blog out of a back office somewhere with this link. In addition, the author is considered a reliable source in this same article when publishing under the AnnArbor.com heading.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:52, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Twitter: This is a case, where we are just doing our best to inform the reader. We have a reliable source who tweeted an image. There are no reliable sources to elucidate on the content of that image. We could leave it unexplained or present transparently that a follower of the RS explained the image. The explanation is quite believable and we leave it to the reader to weigh the credibility of the follower. We know that he did make 3 e-pointers on that date. We have all seen fans putting K's on the wall for their favorite strikeout pitchers. Who does not believe that they post a replica of this flag for each three pointer he makes. Basically, do we believe we are making a better presentation by telling the reader what a follower said or not. We would not present a twitter follower as an expert on much, but this is just a rare case where I think it is O.K. to present this information in this format.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 22:59, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Choose either @ or "at" for the external links. I personally prefer "at" so as to avoid any confusion.

Lead
- Can you spell out "NCAA" before you abbreviate it?
- Done.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:02, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think Canada needs to be linked.
- Can you link Big Ten Conference?
- done.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:03, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- By the end of December of that year he had been named Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week three times. At the end ... Can you reword the start of the second sentence to avoid "the end"?
- At the end of January, he was named to the Wayman Tisdale Award ⋅(USBWA National Freshman of the Year) top 12 midseason list. Why the bullet? And can you give an explanation of the "top 12 midseason list"?
- removed stray text.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:12, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- Explained in main body.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:15, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
International play
- Stauskas averaged 9.4 points per game in the tournament,[53] including a game-high 21 points in a 126–78 loss against the United States team led by Bradley Beal and James Michael McAdoo on June 20, 2009.[54] Wordy, almost a run-on sentence. I would remove the "led by Bradley Beal and James Michael McAdoo" part of the sentence.
- I believe these two names contextualize the performance by documenting his notable contemporaries.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:15, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'd change on of the "Stauskas"s to a "he" since the three sentences in the paragraph start with "Stauskas"
- Done.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 23:17, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Personal
- Looks good besides the Twitter question above.
I will finish the review when these comments are responded to. Albacore (talk) 17:57, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
Background
- Some consider the NBA's September 30, 1993 announcement that it was awarding its 28th franchise to Canadian businessmen as the beginning of the story of Stauskas, who was born 7 days later. Some Who?
- Fixed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:47, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- This decision opened up a whole new set of aspirations for canadian youth. Caps on Canadian, and according to who?
- This whole paragraph is sourced to the citation at the end of the paragraph. What changes would you like in this regard?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:49, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Add an "according to Doster" to the end of the sentence, with the first ref at the end. Albacore (talk) 00:48, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

- Stauskas has never played ice hockey and barely has even played street hockey. had, and I would remove "even" for neutrality.
- Fixed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:51, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- On March 26, 2011, Stauskas made a verbal commitment to Michigan, making him the second member of the school's recruiting class of 2012. Unclear what school is being referred to (Michigan or the high school).
- You are actually pointing to the wrong grammatical imbiguity. The high school is not mentioned in the sentence, so it is unambiguous what is the referent is (the only school in the sentence). However, the problem with the sentence is that making refers to the most immediately adjacent noun, which may suggest that Michigan made him the second member. I will split it into two sentences.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 03:58, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
College career
- Can you explain what (#18/18) means?
- Is it clearer with the links?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:22, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- On December 29, against the Central Michigan, remove "the".
- Fixed.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:00, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Can you update the stats from Jan. 28?
- When the season ends I will have a source that represents the end of the season. I can add a source for conference games.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:04, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not convinced of the Penn State notability. 6 free throws and 4 assists don't strike me as particularly noteworthy, and they only tied career highs.
- There was not much else to say for February since he didn't win any Player of the week. Do you want me to remove the whole sentence.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:19, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I think you should remove the sentence. Cutting the sentence reduces the stat-heavy text by removing a sentence, basically only made of stats. Albacore (talk) 00:48, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

- Note the article is very heavy on the freshman year, you should cut back on some of the content when as he progresses. Albacore (talk) 02:54, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
