Movie release date?
[edit]Can anyone find what exact magazine the Fangoria mention came from? We need exact numbers & such. I checked the Fangoria website, but they didn't have a mention of any such article. On the myspace page for the remake, there's a mention from the author that the movie should be released in September. [[1]] I changed it, but I'm going to try to find out which Fangoria issue the mention was in & add it to the page. So far the only mentions of the article are on the IMDB entry & this wiki. And it's all the same person who is making the claims, so that's enough reason to kind of doubt it. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 11:39, 23 February 2010 (UTC)tokyogirl79
- I purchased the latest issue of Fangoria, which has a lengthy article about NOTD. I think that the previous person misinterpreted part of the article, which states that the movie will be coming out in a remake heavy season which INCLUDES the REMAKE of 'Mother's Day'. There was no release date stated in the article. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 14:19, 27 February 2010 (UTC)Tokyogirl79
- Please stop reverting the article to the 24th. I know, most movies are released on Friday & more than likely it'll get released on a Friday, but the article states the 23rd. It was probably an error & he meant to say the 24th, but until we get another article stating Friday 9/24, we have to go with what he says. Movies have been released on odd days before, so we have to take him at face value. Besides, we don't have an official date yet- this is just a tentative date stated in an article. It could end up getting pushed back again. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 10:28, 6 May 2010 (UTC)tokyogirl79
Article Start
[edit]I've started the article off with the essentials & I plan on trying to get a free use image of the movie poster teaster to use for the article. (The poster states the movie release date as Halloween, so it should definitely be included.) I used the movie synopsis from the creators since I didn't think I could put it any better. I'll try to add more information as I find it (that's wiki worthy, that is). I would like to list the differences between the original & the remake, but without having seen the actual remake there's no way of guaranteeing anything for sure. (Although if the creators want to offer me the chance to watch the remake then I'll happily fly to wherever in the US that they are editing! lol) Tokyogirl79 (talk) 09:29, 11 February 2009 (UTC)Tokyogirl79
Are any of the cites actually reliable sources, by our standards? Perhaps Fangoria only? Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:53, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
- If you are talking about the character info, I was wondering about that as well. It's kinda... sloppy. Unless someone can cough up some info as to where they got that info from, it should probably just be deleted. It doesn't matter if it is true or not, it's just that it can't be verified since the film has not been shown anywhere outside of the UK one day screening. Besides, if someone knows that much information than they should just write a plot synopsis. Tokyogirl79 (talk) 04:25, 27 November 2009 (UTC)Tokyogirl79
Removed Character info
[edit]I just went ahead & removed it. So far it is unsourced & we have no way of knowing if it is true or not. If the contributor has seen the UK release of it, then why not write out a plot synopsis? That info would be better served by writing out the plotline instead of squishing it down into a character info section. (Which would become redundant as soon as the plot synopsis was written.)
