[edit]Thanks, ArielGold and Andplus, for your copyediting (I know I need it sometimes!) but I do not understand the distaste for redlinks - if a topic is notable and Wikipedia should have an article on it, having a redlink helps to build the web.
Someone may one day write an article on Strutt & Parker, property consultant, land agent, John James Strutt, 2nd Baron Rayleigh, Camp 41, National Economic Development Council for Agriculture, the Advisory Council for Agriculture and Horticulture, the British Friesian Cattle Society, or the Massey-Ferguson Award (or articles may already exist, which just need redirects) and now this article won't be linked to them. Just my opinion. -- !! ?? 09:52, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Not me, mate. At least not intentionally. I occasionally add red links (probably because I'm too crap to find the associated article) but I don't remember removing one. I can't see a problem with them, they are like a flashing notice to fill the missing article. Andplus 10:09, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
