Notability
[edit]I'm not sure I understand what it would take to remove the notability warning from this page. I thought Amazon.com listings of her books, which include sales rankings and reviews, would qualify as a reliable enough source to show Nicole Blackman is notable enough to be worthy of a separate page. Can someone explain why that is not sufficient? I've read the notablity and reliable sources guidelines, and amazon.com would seem to qualify.206.180.38.20 (talk) 21:00, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Numerous, almost exhaustive citations have been added to clear up almost all issues with this article, including references to the New York Times reviewing her performances. If this doesn't count as reliable sources for notability, please explain what else is required.206.180.38.20 (talk) 22:11, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- See WP:RS. Sales links are not considered reliable, as they are promotional in nature and can be manipulated. As far as establishing notability, third-party coverage from reputable news sources/literary journals is the way to go. Feather Jonah (talk) 05:28, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
