I wonder if his appearances in The Bill should be broken into separate parts as it looks like he was in it constantly from 1985 until 1993 playing two characters. In fact he made a one-off appearance in 1985 as one-time character Terry Mitchell before joining the series as semi-regular PC Ron Smollett in 1990, a role he continued until 1993.
