[edit]Wan't the channel five show in fact called "Danger! Incoming attack!" and not "Danger! 50,000 volts!". I used to watch it, it was hilarious
I have started the article for Danger! 50,000 Volts! using mainly the text from the paragraph about it in this article. I haven't seen the programme yet, so I can't add any more information about it at the moment. George C 10:39, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed a lot of information about the programme as it is now contained in it's own article which I will probably add more to when I have actually seen the programme. George C 12:15, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Cornettos
[edit]I removed the paragraph about the Cornettos as it has nothing to do with Frost's career. George C 16:53, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Name of his ex-wife?
[edit]This[1] states that his ex wife is called "Mariangela" but all other sources say "Christina" as is named in the article. Where does "Mariangela" come from? Chaheel Riens (talk) 17:23, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Request for Disambiguation of this page?
[edit]Hi Everyone,
The radio station Wikipedia page CKOO-FM references its owner, Nick Frost, by way of a link to a Wikipedia page, or future Wikipedia page, in his name. Since one doesn't exist, it links here. Since this Nick Frost is not well known, or even if we was, I am requesting a disambiguation page be created (can I create this on my own?), which would then reference this "Nick Frost" as "Nick Frost (comedian)".
Thanks.

Nick Frost → Nick Frost (actor) – As per Wikipedia:Moving a page#Reasons for moving a page, I propose to move this page to Nick Frost (actor), or to some other alternative that includes a parenthetical qualifier to accommodate current and future Wikipedia pages for noted individuals with the common name Nick Frost. Nick Frost should then serve as a #redirect to Nick Frost (disambiguation). Thanks. -DM Doug Mehus (talk) 00:37, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Strongly support As the Wikipedia page moving proponent, I offer strong support for the above-noted rationale. Doug Mehus (talk) 00:40, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose and speedy close, there's no other article here about a "Nick Frost". Even if J. Nicholas Frost owner of the soft ballad radio station CKOO-FM (mentioned above) had a page, this famous actor would be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. – Thjarkur (talk) 01:31, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Reply Even still, why would this actor be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC? Lots of other pages have disambiguation pages, for which I would have no issues with Nick Frost (actor) being listed first. Oppose your petition for speedy close. Doug Mehus (talk) 01:36, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per
Doug MehusThjarkur. Aside from a passing mention of someone with a similar name in the CKOO-FM article, I don't see a serious ambiguity here. If a problem arises in the future, we can address it then. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:39, 26 August 2019 (UTC)- Name of other editor corrected above. It seems I was confused about who said what. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:21, 27 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose, per above, no other article about a Nick Frost. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:08, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. This can be revisited when there is more than one Nick Frost with an article. Egsan Bacon (talk) 03:11, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. Although WP:NEVERHEARDOFIT is a guideline for deletion discussions, it pretty obviously applies here. The nominator seems to think this page is worth moving because they've never heard of this Nick Frost, which isn't a valid reason for a move. Even if Nick Frost (radio owner) or similar became an article, there's almost no chance it stacks up to this article's average of 60k views a month. Nohomersryan (talk) 18:23, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Reply For clarity, now that I've looked into Nick Frost (of Britain) via IMDb, I didn't realize this was the actor that played the British constable from the indie comedy film Hot Fuzz (love that movie). Nevertheless, I don't see why it wouldn't be preferable to be proactive and have a disambiguation article that links, initially, to Nick Frost (actor) and to Nick Frost (radio station owner) or Nick Frost (businessman), as and when that article is written? Doug Mehus (talk) 18:31, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose per others. The actor is a clear primary topic and really there isn't anything else to disambiguate with. Ambiguity with Nick Ffrost is already covered by the hatnote and this J. Nicholas Frost chap doesn't seem particuarly notable. PC78 (talk) 23:27, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- J. Nicholas Frost is worthy of his own article, I think, as he did own CILK-FM, CHSU-FM, CKFR, and, more recently, CKOO-FM and Castanet.net (which, surprisingly, doesn't have a Wikipedia article) until their sale to Glacier Media. He definitely goes by Nick Frost. If I had more time or research interest, I'd write a biography article and re-propose disambiguation. Doug Mehus (talk) 15:49, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
