ß or β in Nias language
[edit]There is a letter "⟨ß⟩ [ʋ]" in the Phonology Consonants table. I was wondering if that letter ⟨ß⟩ is meant to be a beta ⟨β⟩ (like Image 1) or an eszett/sharp s ⟨ß⟩ (like Image 2). Do you know what the uppercase look like? Thanks! --Moyogo/ (talk) 07:48, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Something messed up with this article
[edit]orthern Nias has /ŋ/ but not /c/; in addition, /z/ is pronounced [z].
1. Did you mean: "has /ŋ/ but not <c>"? /c/ is a separate symbol in IPA for the palatal plosive, I don't see it listed in the standard phonology.
2. /z/ is pronounced [z]? What is that supposed to mean? Did you mean /s/ is pronounced like [z]? Because in this table is neither <z> letter nor /z/ phoneme. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.26.180.200 (talk) 16:23, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
