Merge in the other direction, to Nidafjöll. Gene Nygaard 22:45, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why? Because that title currently doesn't have an 'ð' or do you have any input on the mythological geography? There are a lot of these tiny stubs on locations in Norse mythology but I don't see any evidence that Niðavellir and Niðafjöll refers to the same place. Maybe the whole lot should be merged into one big list but until then I don't see any point in merging these two. Haukur 23:02, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree with Haukur, I have never seen any evidence pointing to Niðavellir and Niðafjöll being the same place. - Hiuki

Myrkheim?

[edit]

There is a lack of citation that Myrkheim is the same as Niðavellir. Even more strangely, "Myrkálfar" are talked about in the article for Svartálfaheim rather than on this page, so it seems arbitrary that Myrkheim is linked to this page but Myrkálfar is linked there. Perhaps Myrkheim and Myrkálfar should be on their own page, especially since there is no scholarly consensus about whether Myrkheim refers to Niðavellir or Svartalfheim or both, and whether Myrkálfar refer to dwarfs/dwarves or dark elves or both.--Webspidrman (talk) 03:08, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
