Burra Burra?
[edit]Under alternative names: "Burra Burra (a name for one of the Ngadjuri hordes)". does anyone have any linguistic evidence for this? it appears on the SAmuseum site without a source but nowhere else.
It's often presumed that the town of Burra (formerly Burra Burra) is named after an indigenous word, although evidence for this is sceptical at best and it might be derived from Hindustani or even Cornish (see etymology section on the wiki for Burra). If the word Burra Burra can be confirmed as Ngadjuri it could clear up an etymological mystery, but I don't think it's appropriate to have on the page until a better evidence is found.
