[edit]Hi! As Next Great Baker appears to be a popular show, we will likely be building more articles past the upcoming second one. Personally, I am not a fan of the contestant progress table being used. For consistency purposes, I think we need to collaborate on a universally accepted scheme for the NGB elimination table. Here is one that I whipped up, that is more detailed and in-depth. I feel it displays the contestants' progress better.
Among the changes I have done are:
- A new color scheme, but I still have kept the cornflower blue and pink colors in.
- Olympic medal colors (gold, silver, bronze) for the final three.
- A title row to make the table more complete.
- The addition of the "HIGH" stance for both individual and team competitions.
- For team competitions, the leader or best member of the team (acknowledged on the show of course) is marked as the winner of the challenge, with the other members as "HIGH".
- The replacement of "quit" with a differently colored "withdraw" (WD), a more official stance.
- The replacement of "WORST" with "LOW", which makes a column more compact, and essentially, it is the universal reality show elimination table "bottom word" on Wikipedia.
- The replacement of the column of "WORST"s (Ep 4) with a column of "IN"s instead. This better displays the results of that week.
- Two separate "sections" for the finale, as there were technically two elimination challenges.
- Bolding of eliminations and challenge wins, as they are the most important details.

* Joe was invited back into the contest, but was eliminated the same week.
- (WINNER) This baker won the competition.
- (RUNNER-UP) This baker was the runner-up of the competition.
- (THIRD) This baker place third overall in the competition.
- (WIN) This baker won the challenge.
- (HIGH) The baker had one of the best cakes for that challenge, but did not win.
- (IN) This baker was not one of the best or worst, and advanced to the next week.
- (LOW) This baker had one of the worst cakes.
- (LOW) This baker had the worst cake of those who advanced, and was the last to move on.
- (OUT) This baker was eliminated.
- (WD) This baker voluntarily withdrew from the competition.
I feel this table is closer to the other reality show tables, like Design Star, Shear Genius, Project Runway, Top Chef, MasterChef, etc. Please, please comment and give in any ideas! I think discussing this formally instead of edit wars is a much better idea. Thanks so much!!! TDI19 (talk) 00:58, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
