Reviewer: Moswento (talk · contribs) 18:50, 23 March 2013 (UTC) Hello! I'll be reviewing this one. Detailed review to appear below soon. Moswento talky 18:50, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- Great work on this article! It is well-written, covers all the main aspects of the road's route and history, and the referencing looks solid (I cannot access all of the sources, but nothing causes me concern). The article is also stable, neutral, without any evidence of plagiarism. Image is fine too. I just have two comments on the lead, one of which is an optional suggestion in any case. Once the other is addressed, I would very happily give this the pretty green symbol. Great work! Moswento talky 13:37, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- "save for" (also in history section) To many readers, this may be an unfamiliar idiom, so I'm wondering if "except for" might be better?
- I think something needs to be mentioned in the lead about the role of the Lowville Kiwanis Club in the improvement of the road, as a significant chunk in the History section is related to their action.
- Added on the latter. I've heard "save for" in basic English many times, while either is acceptable, how common is "except for" vs "save for". I haven't heard that much difference. Mitch32(The man most unlikely to drive 25 before 24.) 22:05, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply - the addition in the lead looks good, and I'm happy with leaving it as "save for" (wonder if this is a case of British English vs American English? Either way, it's fine as it is). So, on that note, I am delighted to promote this to GA. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Moswento talky 12:38, 26 March 2013 (UTC)
