Decommissioned Route
[edit]Since NY 339 has been decommissioned and is completely another route (Saratoga County Route 339), the highway will need to be re-created to its County Route counterpart. As of now, no Saratoga County route articles are known to exist. Once created, this article will be re-directed to that. Fwgoebel 13:24, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- The redirect has already been taken care of, as I moved the article to Saratoga County Route 339 last night. All that needs to be done is a quick rewrite to reflect the road's current status, which I can take care of fairly quickly. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 16:38, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, looks good. I added the missing mile marker (CR 110). Comment on that: Being from the area the CR 339 sign is on an "extended" (wide) county route shield (Saratoga County does use the standard pentagon) for three-digit routes. I wonder if such an extended/wide blank shield exists on which to put non-condensed digits? It's not a major point, just something that would be noticed for a stickler. For what it's worth though, I don't think that CR 110 uses an extended/wide shield beause the "1" digits are narrow enough.
