Rename
This article was renamed New York State Highway 25A (from 25a) in keeping with the naming convention of previous NY State Highways. Take a look at List of New York state highways for other examples. hydnjo talk 17:41, 9 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Intentions to Edit
This is a massively horrifying article, filled with NPOV violations, like exploring the psyc hospital. I intend to do a major revamp. --207.188.97.8 14:37, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
Change of Intersection Template
This article was changed to bring its intersection template to the NYint format. No other changes were made. It is important to verify, update and/or correct as necessary.Fwgoebel 16:27, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- I say it's more important if the new template works. The trouble is, it doesn't. Otherwise, I wouldn't have such a hard time adding Suffolk CRs 35 & 66 to New York State Route 231, or on NY 25, changing the color of the intersection with New York State Route 135. - What specific problems are you having with the template? The new template does work - it's just that it uses a couple of parameters not used on the old template to clean up the look. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 22:15, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- I just told you. I can't add Suffolk CRs 35 & 66 to the northern terminus of NY 231, and I can't change the color for no access, former, or unbuilt intersections. DanTD 15:11, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Check out the Project Page, the instructions for the colors are all there. You might be using entries for the old template; if they've been updated, use what you see there. The choices are noaccess, mplex, decomd, unbuilt, closed. As for being unable to use county routes: I've put up just the text of "CR ##" and let it go at that. A county route emblem, if created, can (and has) been put up on other articles. Remember though, the things you wish to do, and can't, should be put on the talk page of the article(s) in question. - Actually, I've been copying segments from the existing template, and changing the numbers and names, and it gets lobsided. As for the colors for noaceess, multiplex, decommissioned, unbuilt and closed roads, I tried that for New York State Route 127 a few weeks ago, and likewise that didn't work either. In the meantime, I still can't get Exit 47 on the Long Island Expressway exit list to work right. I had to leave a blank space for a non-existant municipality to prevent that from becoming lobsided. - OK, I added CRs 35 and 66 to the northern terminus of NY 231 and I'll make the necessary fix on I-495 (which I'll update to WP:IH standards as well). As for NY 25, it may be just me, but I don't see why the color needs to be changed for the NY 135 intersection. Not sure why the colors aren't working; maybe if you could post a snippet of code for me to look at, I'd be able to diagnose the problem. As for lopsided tables, make sure that you've updated the "rowspan=" values ("cspan=" and "lspan=" in the NYint tables) to match the number of rows the cell should span. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 20:14, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the NY 135 intersection does need to be changed for NY 25A, simply because it wasn't constructed. DanTD 22:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed that, as well as a couple of junctions using the old "concurrency" (now "mplex") call for the type. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 22:22, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- Can you fix it for NY 25 and Suffolk CR 111 in Ridge? Because it already has the "unbuilt" template added, and it's still white, when it should be purple. DanTD 20:38, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Done. --TMF Let's Go Mets - Stats 20:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
