Article for Theatre on Film and Tape Archive (TOFT)
[edit]The section on the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive (TOFT) in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts article has been expanded to the point where it would make sense to become its own article in Wikipedia. With the wide interest in TOFT (over 8,000 users last year), it would serve the public to be able to find comprehensive and accurate information about the Archive on Wikipedia, one of the most-consulted resources on the web. While I understand that archives are not generally allowed their own articles, in this case there is a clear precedent in Wikipedia. The Theatre Museum of London article cites one of its collections, the National Video Archive of Performance, which links to a separate article about NVAP, which in fact cites TOFT as a model for the archive.
