Merge
[edit]There's a bit of talk on the North American GAA page about merging the New York page with it. I think it's a good idea since both pages are a bit sparse at the minute. Whadayathink? --Eamonnca1 06:50, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm impressed that the result of the Mayo v New York match in the Connacht championship yesterday (May 10) has been inserted into the article so quickly. Michael, Ireland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.44.88.234 (talk) 19:09, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Dominant Sport
[edit]Previously the dominant sport was listed as "dual county" and that has been modified to "hurling." I've reverted to "dual county." Okay, fair play to you for getting to the Ulster final, but there are more football clubs than hurling in NY as far as I can see, and I would have thought that participation was the measure of what makes any one sport dominant over the other in a county. --Eamonnca1 22:19, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
