My2011 response
[edit]Rupa, thank you for creating the talk page and engaging the Wikipedia community in such a constructive and rigorous manner.
These are just my personal opinions and suggestions:
Edit 1: Sounds great, make sure to source the lead with your 2 sources.
Edit 2: I'm not sure about Kumar -- http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2011/03/16/rajaratnam-lawyer-seeks-to-discredit-witnesss-testimony/ seems to contradict this, and I've read many sources that say he was involved in the founding team. For the advisors, suggest spinning off a subsection for "advisory board" (to distinguish from current partner leadership).
Edit 3: The infobox doesn't allow you to change the caption: see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_company for formatting guidelines.
Edit 4: Go right ahead, please make sure all investments are sourced. Further reading: Go right ahead.
Thank you once again. My2011 (talk) 23:31, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hello My2011,
- Thank you for your quick reply and suggestions. It is my understanding that having me make the changes would probably violate Wikipedia Conflict of Interest guidelines given my disclosed connection to the company. Would it be possible for you to push the edits live given that you are a neutral third party?
- Also, we continue to suggest removing the reference to Anil Kumar as a founder of New Silk Route or Taj Capital. The DealBook article that the entry has sourced for this does not describe him as a founder.
- Please let me know your thoughts. --Ruparanganathan (talk) 19:08, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, give me a few days. My2011 (talk) 21:57, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
