Need more about the movies in the article

In the History section there's nothing about the films after the 3rd paragraph on the "Nightmare on Elm Street" films until in the next section on "Accounting practices" where the first sentence is about New Line's alleged failure to distribute profits correctly on 'The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. However, there's nothing before that connecting New Line to Peter Jackson's films based on the Tolkien novels. At the very least, New Line's connection to "The Lord of the Rings" movies should be set out before mentioning that there's a financial issue about those movies.

Furthermore, New Line's acquisition of the Lord of the Rings movies was quite a coup given that the movies were three of the top 4 grossing films for New Line. Although this is not the best source, to cite, I remember reading before about this:

https://movies.stackexchange.com/questions/76250/how-did-peter-jackson-get-the-rights-of-the-lord-of-the-rings

Also, something should be said about the Jackson/Tolkien movies' gross receipts as background to the accounting issue. Something like:

"Despite the "Fellowship" grossing more than $1 billion, New Line claimed it made no profit. ...

Except for the discussion up through the "Nightmare" movies, the History section doesn't mention films very much. Shouldn't there be more in general about the New Line films? They produced or co-produced some of the most iconic films of the late 20th & early 21st centuries.

Instead, of referring to any films, the last 3 paragraphs of the History section deal with corporate acquisitions by New Line and acquisitions of New Line. This is followed by the accounting issue, and then a section on the "Merger with Warner Bros." Shouldn't all the corporate changes be together in the same section? Should update the info on the lawsuits

The law suits on New Line's accounting practices have been settled by now and that should be reflected in the article.

The LOR lawsuits apparently caused substantial delays to production of "The Hobbit" movies. Also a fact that might be relevant enough to include.
