Blogs

I see no reason why political news blogs should be unacceptable as sources for statements about political news.[1] Wikipedia:BLOGS is about reliable sources for expert information on particular fields of knowledge, a different issue entirely.Jsorens (talk) 17:26, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLOGS seems clear: irrespective of topic, avoid self-published sources unless the author is an established expert in the field. Note that WP:RSN exists to discuss individual cases. Rostz (talk) 03:07, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
