Neutral Point of View
[edit]I have tagged this article for Neutral Point of View because of the following sentence:"Operating as a cooperative since its inception in 1971, New Day Films is democratically run by our more than 100 filmmaker members." The First person pronoun gives the impression that the author a part of the organization. This NPOV instance may actually be copyvio, as the following text is quoted from the "Introduction" area of the organization's page (url is http://www.newday.com/mission.html):"Democratically run by our more than 100 filmmaker members". This is the same text as what is bolded above in the sentence taken from the article. Please assist me in determining which this is. Thank you. Hi there,
I'm fairly new to Wikipedia and still trying to figure out how it works. I don't work for New Day films but did take part of that sentence from their site. Should I take out the "our" in that sentence? also, how do you add your signature and timestamp?

- WCP2009,
- I'm new too, and I would suggest reading through the various policies. Also, before copying text from a webpage, check for a copyrright statement or a free use statement, et cetera. On New Day Films' webpage, at the bottom, they have a copyright statement. Taking out the "our" would help the NPOV, but the rest of the sentence is still copyvio. Your best bet is to not only remove the "our, but to rewrite the entire sentence. (I just checked this site, and the entire sentence is right there.) Also, if you type four tildes after your post (a tilde lookes like this: ~) Wikipedia will insert a date and time stamp with your signature. I hope this helps. I will check back in about 2 hours and look for this change, if the sentence is still there, I will mark the article as a candidate for speedy deletion under G12. This code refers to the general section, list number 12. Thank you. Poker5463 (talk) 20:09, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
- I have cleaned up the text and removed the NPOV tag. The article needs better referencing. Pastor Theo (talk) 02:26, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
STUB?
[edit]Is this a Stub? It looks to short to be an article to me. Poker5463 Repeater 18:50, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
