"limelight"

[edit]

@Rejoy2003: as you have continued to refuse to start this discussion despite being asked multiple times, I'm going to start. The sources given do not support the phrase "however he ensured that his lenten tiatrs were brought to limelight even at times from his hospital bed". Your edit-summary of "he ensured that his lenten tiatr saw the light of the day". Several other sources also have mentioned him working from his hospital bed" shows two issues. First, source 20 isn't mentioned. You, the editor adding this, have the WP:BURDEN of making sure material challenged is supported by the sources for that material. That source isn't even close to what was challenged. Second, WP:SYNTH applies, you are taking material from multiple sources and combining them. One source needs to support the entire line. Not multiple. Also, "light of day" does not equal "limelight", that's pure puffery and exaggeration. Stop pushing this, I will end up taking this to WP:EW if you continue. This is disruptive editing. Hmm, I did mention ref 20 and it was valid untill I made further edits which pushed the source to another number, so not misleading or anything. Like it's mentioned in Times of India, "he ensured that his lenten tiatr saw the light of the day", from what I added was "limelight". There might be a bit of a grammar issue or statement might seem fluffery as you claim, it's not puffery intended, not that I want to be. You seem to be familiar with my work, I never copy paste content from sources as I prefer to add my own words, as it should be. So from what I can see is, calm down and I'll use the exact statement mentioned in TOI, which I have mentioned above.  Rejoy2003  14:00, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Fine. It's still borderline puffery, but I'm glad you finally actually discussed this on the article talk page instead of pushing over and over. There is a substantial difference between "limelight" and "light of day". You can't be pushing phrases when you don't understand the difference between them. Next time, follow BRD and start the talk page discussion after the first revert and ask. Ravensfire (talk) 14:10, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
