American Bias?

[edit]

This article seems to favour an American/USA bias in the information presented. It should be remembered that EN Wikipedia is for English speaking regions of which Northern America is only a part. It is suggested that someone with more knowledge than I, expand the article to cover other countries preferred surgical methods etc. Jaruzel (talk) 08:28, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

It would be nice to have some information on the history of these techniques. Castration of males goes back quite far in history since it is fairly easy to get at the testicles and they can be removed without great risk of injury. Spaying of females, on the other hand, is surgically a much bigger deal, and therefore presumably has been done only fairly recently. It would be interesting to see some discussion of these issues.Bill (talk) 00:10, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
