Rewrite tag
[edit]I added the {{rewrite}} tag to a section of this article. Several sections need to be rewritten. The most egregiously POV-pushing paragraph begins:
- As the leading software and solutions provider in China, the core of Neusoft's business portfolio integrates implementation, consulting and services for: software and middleware, industry solutions, IT outsourcing, and BPO (business process outsourcing).
This has multiple issues. "Leading" is vague, and ought to have a reference. "Solutions provider" and "industry solutions" - this doesn't sound like a chemical business. "Solutions provider" is inherently POV and unacceptable style for an encyclopedia. It necessarily includes the overconfident assumption that the business's products and services actually solve problems. While I understand "outsourcing", I have no idea what "business process" outsourcing means.
This needs to be rewritten from a ground-level perspective and in concrete terms that actually describe what the employees of this business are doing in their workday. I realize that this is a technology and consulting firm in China, and that some of its editors may not be native speakers of English, and in that industry there are plenty of bad models for clear writing in English that they may have been exposed to. - Smerdis of Tlön 16:14, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
