Sowled cloacae

In this article males are described as having "sowled cloacae". What does the word "sowled" mean? Is it Old English, Middle English, Elizabethan English, Southern dialect, or just a typographical error? 74.109.236.194 (talk) 15:32, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
