Neurosis or Neuroticism

Many web definitions point neurotic towards neurosis, however, many web definitions also define neuroticism as someone who is neurotic. From a psychological standpoint, neuroticism applies to everyone as a measurable trait of personality, and neurosis has been largely abandoned as a psychological term do to being too general. It makes more sense for neurotic to redirect to neuroticism (a measure that applies to everyone) rather than neurosis (a now defunct psychological term).Rip-Saw (talk) 22:22, 11 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
