Yes, but has anyone tried this succesfully with mamallian neurons? All, studies have been done with xenopus or cold blooded animals. Working with mammalian cells is much more complicated because they are more difficult to keep alive in culture, requiring supplements, appropriate temperature and CO2 concentration. Please let me know of any experiments done with mammalian neurons.
