Changing title
[edit]Would it be better if the title is 'Network covalent structure' instead of 'Network covalent bonding'? Because the thing that is a network is the structure, not the bonding. the bonding are still normal covalent bond. Just that the structure is a network — Preceding unsigned comment added by DHMO hk (talk • contribs) 13:53, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
- I agree that the focus is on the overall structure, not the bond details (indeed, just regular covalent ones). I'd be fine with "network solid" or "network covalent structure". "Network solid" is more concise, and seems to be more commonly used (or at least commonly used in multiple different fields). DMacks (talk) 19:39, 2 October 2015 (UTC)
- I can't figure out what this article is about, or, stated differently, which nonmolecular solid is NOT included. We need an authoritative ref or two for the definition of the topic. The title needs changing because the article seems to be about structure.--Smokefoot (talk) 15:55, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
