Generic discussion or product-specific?
[edit]The title of the article leads one to believe that it addresses the general concept of a network performance monitoring solution, but it is written as if it's the specific implementation of a network performance monitoring solution. Yet, the associated company is never really mentioned. The article should be written in a fashion similar to service assurance or operations support system which describe general capabilities and use cases. ktrueman (talk) 16:17, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Agreed, and at the moment the article makes only a weak assertion of notability per WP:PRODUCT. It's a minor component of Microsoft OMS, which itself isn't particularly notable, and Microsoft has just begun merging OMS into the Microsoft Azure portal.
- There's really nothing here worth merging to an article on network performance monitoring, or to Network monitoring. The product's probably worth a mention at the Azure article, though the current title isn't suitable for redirecting there. Might I suggest moving it back to draft? It's not ready for main space in its current state. Donutron (talk) 20:01, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- So it is a Microsoft product. I don't see why it could not be thinned and merged into Microsoft_Azure#Services ~Kvng (talk) 13:31, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- This might not even exist anymore, I checked the Microsoft Azure website and all I saw were sections from other articles about similar functionality. 22jcampb (talk) 18:03, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
