I don't believe this article should be deleted, as I was simply expanding on what was mentioned in founder Jason Forrest's page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_forrest#Network_Awesome. In fact, I copied the "Network Awesome" section directly into this page, but it was immediately deleted. Network Awesome is a real website and should have a page. Also, I have no intention of violating any of the terms, I thought that I had properly attributed my sources. Thank you for your consideration.TheSadnesses (talk) 15:54, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You can report on what was said and leave a reference to a cited source in the footnotes per WP:CITE if it supports content you have written here yourself, but you cannot copy content wholesale from other sources; and most obviously not when they are clearly of a promotional nature. The notability of the website is still unclear and must be supported by reliable sources. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 16:02, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response. I apologize, but I am confused as to why the content was not deleted from the Jason Forrest page. As I mentioned, I copied that section from the link above into this page. Although I am a fan of the website, I was not trying to include items of a promotional nature, just providing information from the articles I found online. I thought the "Network Awesome" section on the Jason Forrest page deserved expansion. Is the modified article OK now i.e. will it not be deleted as-is?TheSadnesses (talk) 16:21, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I understand. The Jason Forrest is also in serious breaches of policy and the subject may not be notable. Doubtless another admin will mark it for deletion. There is probably no immediate danger of this article being deleted immediately, but it does need reliable sources to assert notability. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 16:27, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for your help. I have included several external articles from notable sources I found (for example LA Times)-- If I quote and attribute those in the page, will that suitably constitute notability? I apologize for all of my questions, but appreciate your help very much. TheSadnesses (talk) 16:32, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
