Netherlands?

[edit]

I have a question. Why is it named after the Netherlands in particular? Why not the lingering pollution fallacy or something like that? -Skyler 23:48, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Came to ask the same question... --Haruth (talk) 01:18, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. This is an awfully specific reference of very little notability and should probably be deleted. Especially given Ehrlich's record of being completely wrong about everything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.222.175.36 (talk) 16:46, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Netherlands Fallacy

[edit]

1) Instead of adding a hyperlink to [1] give examples of what specific negative environmental impacts the Netherlands (and other rich nations) have made on bordering nations, which would give context to the reader. 2) When you refer to,[2] give more context about how they can be damaging to the environment, or what they are. 3) Defining [3] would give the reader a better understanding of how the Netherlands pollution is affecting the world.
