The name John Nelder, for whom the Nelder Grove is named, contains a link that connects to a DIFFERENT man named John Ashcroft Nelder born about a century later.

The Railroad Fire, which burned or partially atrophied many of Nelder Grove's giant sequoias when it swept through the area in September 2017, was added as a stand-alone section including numerous citations. Guywelch2000 (talk) 01:02, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
