Changes
[edit]I have attempted to clean up the grammar and spelling of this page and have also added in a paragraph concerning Swarbrick's controversial performance in the League One Play Off Semi Final Second Leg. I have managed to cite two of the issues I have raised in this paragraph but have been unable to cite the others as they reflect the wider opinion of those attending the match and apart from many comments underneath articles regarding the match I have found nowhere specific to cite these comments. Nonetheless they are correct and this new paragraph I have created is far better cited than the other paragraphs on the page and they have remained in place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.109.183.87 (talk) 16:35, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
removal of previous information on this page
[edit]I fail to see why the information regarding Swarbrick's refereeing perfomance in the Huddersfield v Bournemouth play off semi final has been removed. It was referenced and gave an accurate portrayal of Swarbrick's performance in the match. As an important play off match it can rate as one of the most important Swarbrick has refereed and as such is valid of its place in an article about him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.109.183.87 (talk) 22:43, 24 May 2011 (UTC) I have now updated the article to include the piece about the play off semi final as I have managed to find verifiable unbiased sources (Sky Sports commentators and BBC commentators) who have provided evidence to back up my claims made about the poor decisions made by Swarbrick during this game. this piece should therefore not be deleted as it is well cited and provides a good assessment of Swarbricks refereeing abilities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.109.183.87 (talk) 13:32, 25 May 2011 (UTC) Can whoever it is who keeps removing the content regarding the play off match please explain why they have done so as this time it was sourced to comments made by commentators who are unbiased and have the benefit of TV replays to clarify what they are saying. Consequently it was perfectly genuine material and should not have been removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.109.183.87 (talk) 16:13, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
March 2015
[edit]This page should be semi protected, since we can anticipate a rush of angry West Brom fans after a call in their game today. Teddy5288 (talk) 14:02, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
Place of birth
[edit]The infobox has his place of birth listed as Preston but it is linked to Bernley. The ref only narrows it down to Lancashire so no help there. Any ideas which local is his place of birth? Creol (talk) 20:18, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
